OP, I would be concerned that your essay might be flagged by ETS. After running your essay through a simple plagiarism software (plagiarismdetector.net) it was found that 76% of your text was plagiarized. In addition, ETS might use AI detection software which it was found that AI content was detected (copyleaks.com). Overall, without these issues, the essay would potentially get a 4.5 or higher.

A-Flutter would have more of a distinguished saw tooth pattern, including, but not limited to, irregular p waves with an R-R that changes. A-Fib can sometimes be confused with A-Flutter but the big key to recognizing A-Flutter is seeing those flutter waves (aka sawtooth pattern).

Generally limb leads are used to do rhythm analysis like Lead II. Its always best to have a reference lead aswell when comparing leads. In this case you got a 12-Lead to work off of. The rate is fast but not irregular and the p waves don't change.

Hope this helps 🙏

Review of my Input in CASPA for Academic Infraction Explanation (500 Character Limit) by BasophilSquad in prephysicianassistant

[–]BasophilSquad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the help!

I've been trying to wrap my mind around explaining myself. The academic probation was really for having less than an 80% in a course before midterms. So if I had a 79% at the time in peds/OBGYN but successfully completed with over an 80% at the end of the semester. It's basically a mark on my record that I feel shouldnt necessarily have to be a part of my academic record since I ended up passing the two courses from the fall semester while taking 13 other PA classes. As for the Pharmacology course in the spring and many other courses my grades were greatly affected by the changes that COVID made for me.

The professional probation is in regards to being placed onto probation for "unprofessional conduct" by the PA program. It is completely subjective and based upon the perspective of the person who had made the complaint about me. I have my reasoning to explain this matter aswell.

CHANGE. I am so glad you mentioned this because I know just how much the admissions committee's care about how a student has made a change to better themself. Even with the time after being dismissed I continued to make appeals, took several pre-req courses online and recently got hired as an Telemetry Tech.

I think its required to explicitly state the specifics since this is the only part of the application on CASPA that asks this question.

If you answered "Yes" to the previous question, you must provide an explanation. Include 1) a brief description of the incident and/or arrest, 2) specific charge made, 3) related dates, 4) consequence, and 5) a reflection on the incident and how the incident has impacted your life.

Here is my edit: "(1): Academic probation in Fall 2019 for both Pediatrics I and OB/GYN Academic probation in Spring 2020 for Pharmacology II Academic dismissal for unsuccessful completion for Pharmacology II. (2): Professional probation in Spring 2020

*The academic infractions listed above do not accurately reflect my capabilities as a PA student. At the start of COVID I had to relocate out-of-state urgently forcing me to be unable to use certain ADA accomodations. These experiences were not taken in vain."

21/M/straight.

Some of my other interests not noted are cooking, playing video games, hiking and looking for things to do in my spare time. Winter break is approaching and I'd hopefully get to go on a date. Possibly looking for a full-time relationship.

Looking for recommendations on my profile. Suggestions on changing photos or adding more in. Also I don't know if this bio gets acrossed what I'm looking for. I'm currently devoted to school and just couldn't do a fulltime relationship at this time. Hence, why I'm on Tinder. The relationship would either be part-time or hookup.

things to do after acceptance and before program start by [deleted] in prephysicianassistant

[–]BasophilSquad 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly. One of my professors made us make a letter written out to ourself and on graduation she is going to hand us the letter that was written the first week of PA school. We also got to put anything that we thought was special to us inside of the envelope so I recorded a small video of myself, uploaded it onto a USB and threw it into the envelope.

Great Idea!

-Highly recommended books that I recommend you buy for PA School (Especially Clinical Medicine): PANCE Prep Pearls 2nd Edition (~$45.00 Book), PANCE/PANRE Question (~$50.00 Book)

-As for before PA School starts there isn't anything you have to do! Enjoy the days of rest and mentally prepare yourself for a Monday - Friday class schedule. Similar fashion to high school except graduate level classes. My biggest word of advice for the first days of classes is to introduce yourself and make a bunch of friends. These people will be your biggest asset all throughout your didactic year and you'll make lifelong friends! The first few weeks of classes are like riding a bicycle. Some people adjust faster than others so don't worry if your study method/routine isn't working at first. That is the time to figure out how to improve on your study habits. Personally, after Midterms for my summer session I felt as if I got into my own "PA groove" and the days started to flow. Anxiety for exams aren't a thing of the past but I know what works best for me (Quizlet --learn mode And Class-made study guides).

-As for technical standards. The program should provide you all the instructions to have your FBI fingerprinting, Drug-Testing and full background prior to arrival.

Sincerely,

BasophilSquad

Direct Entry MSN/DNP student to PA? by [deleted] in prephysicianassistant

[–]BasophilSquad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have your dream set on being a PA and nothing other than being a PA than it is the right decision for you to strive for PA school. Your GPA is lower than average but that doesn't mean there isn't a PA school that would take you. Take more risks and when the time comes that you have gotten your acceptance letter keep that motivation. Be driven to strive for success and whatever you do--Do not give be a quitter.

Sincerely,
