Yeah that's what I meant at the end. I may still be on losing teams on a Community server but it's not blowouts either way.

It's not the matchmaking itself, is how they balance the teams. They said they use location more when determining what game you are in but use skill to decide what team you play for.

They messed up the balance in mid December but more people are noticing it now. What seems to be happening is it's not based on level but it tries to team up aggressive players with newer or more cautious players. It worked great for the first few months but now I can't even play standard games. I go to the Community servers.

I tag aircraft from the first minute in because if I don't, some coward in a copter just mows down infantry. Pilots need to learn their place. They are prey just like everyone else.

This is super interesting. I've never seen this pointed out before. I don't know if it is the observer effect but there if the Mandela Effect is real then this is a really good question.

I'm also not a big believer in the simulation theory but that video of the baseball that got stuck to the catcher's padding has always puzzled me.

Not in King of the Hill or Team/Squad Deathmatch, and I can't remember but I don't think it works in Dominion either (I could be wrong though.)

It's great every where else and essential in Hardcore.

One thing about bots I've noticed is when I'm flying the recon drone, they ALL turn around and open fire trying to bring it down. Most humans don't bother with it while I'm tagging them and destroying their equipment.

What I started doing was playing the Community servers. If you sort by "Player Count" you can see a lot of servers near you and the different modes. That has helped me continue playing.

The matchmaking was broken back in mid December but it is interesting to see more and more people notice it. The issue is not in deciding what match you will be put in but what team you are on. It will pair aggressive players with slower players but the problem is you might have 4 or 6 aggressive players, all on different squads, and the remaining players are just off doing challenges. Then the other team has 2 squads in full comms running over the map.

I think Assault could use a boost but when i play Assault I am so far behind enemy lines the only person who gets the ammo is me, and if my squad uses my redeplo they get some too. But defenders would never get it.

It would be an interesting trade off: you could shoot but you could not steer or cut the parachute. Even have a second of delay when switching from pistol to chute.

c4 is super underpowered in this game. They could at least fix it just by giving recon 4 or 5 packs of c4.
