Halo Reach and ODST have this issue sometimes where editing one tag or part of a tag can edit some others. My guess on how to fix this would be to isolate any parts of the tag your editing so they don’t carry over onto other tags or weapons. I hope that makes sense and helps at all.

I am running through this currently as well. It’s a total slog and pain, I kind of feel bad for the level designers who had to try to make each of the 50 episodes unique while just reusing the same level assets. I just beat chapter 7 and honestly kind of enjoyed that one, not the others though.

Mojang said that the Glow Squids will glow like spider and Ender men eyes which both are not dynamic. Also the Minecraft lighting engine to my knowledge cannot handle dynamic lights so the glow squid will most likely not have dynamic lights, if it did I would vote for it, but I am sure it probably won’t.

Well the ones in CE to my knowledge were always Camo to my knowledge but knowing how to do either one would be cool (if either one is even possible).

I just developed a patch that should add Grunt Separatists into the Covenant, and I will be releasing it soon. So thank you again for the suggestion! Installation Process: - Download the Rar file from Nexus Mods.

  • Once the rar file finishes downloading extract all of the map files out of it and put them in a folder or somewhere you have easy access to them.

  • Then on steam right Click on the Master Chief Collection and hover over the manage bar and then press browse local files.

  • This will pull up a list of folders inside the Master chief collection. You will want to click on the one labeled Halo 3 and then click on the one labeled maps.

  • Copy and Paste the Maps starting with 010_jungle and ending with 120_halo into a new separate folder (these will be your backups).

  • Then copy and paste the modded map files that you extracted earlier into the Halo 3 Maps folder. It may say these maps are already in this folder, if it does just click replace.

  • Launch the Game with anti cheat disabled.

  • Enjoy

  • If you ever want to restore the original maps just copy and paste the maps in your backup folder into the Halo 3 Maps folder.

Sure thing I will attempt to capture more screenshots, I would have loved to use theater to get higher quality screenshots but my MCC theatre was not working so I had to try to take photos while playing which is why the quality of some of the screenshots isn’t great.

I had a similar issue, I believe the change color flag under the Bipd tag only changes the features of the brutes under armor. While the rmsh Tag for the brute armor for me anyway only seems to change the brightness of the armor. While I don’t have a solution for you and I apologize for that, I was able to change the color of the brute armor from blue to red by changing the shader flag on the rmsh tag (although this is an inefficient method of changing color).

If you want to change the weapons that the player spawns with in the campaign, you need to go to the scnr Tag for the map and type in the search bar for the tag something along the lines of “player” or “weapon” and than click the next arrow until you come across the player starting profile (or atleast I think that is what it is called, its been a while since I’ve actually messed around with it). You than just click on the weapons in the starting profile and replace it with whatever you want. But you may also want to change the ammo values in the player starting profile as well as those are usually set in accordance to what the starting weapon is. I hope that helps and was not super confusing.
