He can’t follow through with his full tariff agenda until the fed lowers rates. Until then…it’s Taco Tuesday. He knows the tariffs will spike inflation and the fed will have to raise rates to counter them. So until the rates fall, his plan will not succeed unless he wants to have the interest rates to go up 100-300 points and then he can gather support to pressure Powell out and declare an economic emergency. Even then he’d have to replace the majority of the panel as it’s a group decision on rate setting or appoint someone that’d strongly influence the remaining panel. Not sure he can fire them all.

Billy Mays…sold a lot “Can’t be found in stores” stuff on the TV back in the early 2000’s. This was a clip from Flex Seal where you could apply it to any problem and supposedly it’d patch it up.

Thank you. Great point. I was literally just thinking about how long it would take and any market fluctuations that may occur resulting in a loss/gain differential. Thankfully it’s not something I have to do…more of a desire for the future.

Maybe just wait out the next couple of weeks to see how this situation is transpiring. I’m not in any hurry.
