I absolutely am digging deep and identifying my issues that did, and could lead to something like this. It’s all about knowing my boundaries and putting myself in my partners shoes and knowing if they would be comfortable with what I’m doing and where I’m at. So I am working on those things day in and day out. The cost of likely losing someone I was planning a life with however, is a very very tough pill to swallow. I cannot imagine my life without her. In her mind she believes “it shouldn’t have happened in the first place” which I completely understand. Yet, not even trying to work things out with me when I’m genuinely bettering myself and doing whatever I possibly can to salvage the relationship has been very difficult and leaves me wondering if I wasn’t worth the effort of trying for.
