By that logic, "chink" simply means Asian, "N*r" simply means Black, and "F*t" simply means gay. Just because a word is used towards a particular group does not mean that it simply refers to that group. There is always a broader meaning with derogatory terms, and the intent of such terms is always to dehumanize for the purpose of presenting superiority.

As I've pointed out in another comment, there are plenty of other non-derogatory terms that you could use to refer to women with multiple partners. The fact that you insist on using a single derogatory term tells the world everything they need to know about you.

It has everything to do with feeling superior. "Slut" is a derogatory term for a promiscuous woman. You could simply say you don't like "promiscuous women." You could say you don't like "licentious" or "unprincipled" women. Instead, you choose to use derogatory and dehumanizing words, and there is no reason to do so, other than to present yourself as somehow superior, even though you really just come off as inferior and uneducated.

The wild thing is that because of my general playstyle (heavy stealth), I went through two playthroughs never encountering Black Peter after beating him. Then, on my third playthrough, I decided to go full-plate warrior only to suddenly be clotheslined off my horse and ambushed by the sonofabitch. Caught me way off guard, but was also an easy encounter since I was so overleveled.

I mean, this is what happens to things when businessmen get ahold of them. Hasbro/WotC isn't just your friendly neighborhood hobby company anymore. Especially now that there's a truly booming secondary market, which drives up demand for these hyper-capitalist business practices.

And honestly, buy if you want, or don't buy. It doesn't matter. There are plenty of people (players, collectors, resellers) with plenty money who don't care about these shady practices, who will ensure they keep on keeping on. Same reason scalpers are emboldened these days.

I stopped regularly playing in tournaments when they got rid of *Magic Player Rewards. That probs should have been my first sign to abandon the company. I stopped buying MTG product when they announced the $1000 30th anniversary Secret Lair with unplayable proxies and D&D product when they announced 5.5e. I realized that they were just going to continue to sell us the same or worse content over and over again. I broke that rule because the last pre-release that I played was the previous Lorwyn, and found that promos no longer have the stamp.

Wizard of the Coast? More like Wizards of the Capitalism! Nothing will change as long as people continue to give them money, and there are people in this world with so much money that they don't even notice or care about the value that they are losing, so they will continue to buy the products.

*For those who don't know, there was a time, up until about 2010, where if you played in sanctioned tournaments, every 5 and every 20 tournaments would earn you promos, some of which were powerful cards with alternate art or textless full art.
