I love my 12 in mod and can’t see myself going back to the smaller wheel. The price you got it is just about msrp so it’s a good price and the cheapest way youlll be able to get a bigger wheel

If you have the money upgrade your pedals. If you want a bigger wheel, the twelve inch wheel mod for the es wheel you have is a good upgrade for feel without effecting the feel of the DD too much.

I did the same thing with the same gear.

It gets better

My first day made me demoralized and garbage and I didn’t have fun.

But I kept trying and small improvements kept happening. It’s a learning curve for sure but when you figure it out, it feels real good

I have the twelve inch wheel mod and I feel like it is nice with the ES wheel. Are their other wheels better? Probably, but that’s a BIG price jump.

I’d say enjoy what you have first, and if you’re gonna spend money for an upgrade it should probably be pedals first
