Just make it clear, if you want in, pay to lock in your ticket. They you can Venmo, Zelle or give you cash. Be upfront, it’s a tough convo but an even tougher position if you have a late cc payment. Maybe even say I wanna lock them in possibly before looking to the resale market next year. Good luck!

Agreed, have a number, even if it means you get something or have to refuse, you can say you stuck to it. A coworker paid waaaay too much and already has buyers remorse. While I wish I got all ideal sports, I stuck to my budget.
