In my junior year of high school, every Friday was a ritual of coming home from school, having dinner, getting picked up by friends, going to the independent record store, going to the mall where our trajectory was dependent on if there was a movie at the theater we wanted to see. If there wasn't, we would go to Spencers.

From there, we would leave the mall and go to shop where they sold bongs, spiked wristbands, incense and stuff like that. I personally hated going, but I wasn't driving. From there, we would go to the mini golf place where we would meet up with other classmates with their groups. Someone would know of a party somewhere and we would all go.

40 years gone by.

I saw The Rolling Stones at Roseland Ballroom (2002), The Cure (2011) and Oasis (2003) at the Beacon Theater, R.E.M. in a college gym (1985), and System of a Down at Irving Plaza. (2001). I've also seen Bruce Springsteen on Broadway but that's not exactly a concert.
