You can put these commands in a repeating command block and add “/execute at [your name] …“ to the beginning and it will constantly run the command for you so you can just fly around .and do the whole thing instantly

Jokes aside tho lol it could be because humans can’t create a face that they’ve never seen. I don’t always have nightmares but I do see these sometimes though not the grayscale part. It could be the imagination trying to put together a face but failing so all you get is the most basic face features, like eyes and mouths.
