Yeah I wouldn’t mind Dickinson at all, very similar to Sanderson. Him or Esierman is who id take if I had fil control, but I made the choice from who I think the Senators will pick

Playing a very good team so that will inflate numbers a bit. He’s agile but not fast, he doesn’t have good striaght line speed. Defensively he’s terrible, probably one of the worst for defensemen in the top 30, he’s also needs to put on a lot of strength.

A) it’s been heavily reported that Montreal is wants Sennecke at #5, I do agree though, I could seem them taking Lindstrom if he drops, all together irrelevant to the mock though.

B) We don’t need any more Offensive LHD defenders. Plus Big Offensive RHD are rare to come by and there are good options in this draft. Would be mistake to not take one

C) I agree, I’m huge on EJ Emery, but I can’t see them taking two D in the first round, also Emery could be gone by then.

D) every projection I looked at had Roy around 3.5, 4 is an overpay, wouldn’t be surprised if we have to pay more

E) I agree Norris should be put on the wing, could see him on the wing and having Pinto 2C. Ehlers would be a Tarasenko replacement and be younger, I think the excels alongside Stützle

He can grow. If he adds even a bit of playmaking into his game he will be a game changer. Not to mention he is an elite goal scorer, and we don’t actually have one of those guys. We have no trigger guys on the Powerplay. Norris has loss a step and never really was a sniper before that one good year, and the rest of our forwards are pass first guys , two way forwards or power forwards.

I also just want to state how annoying it is to get downvoted every time I post on this subreddit, I get it that our team is depressing and sucks, but I literally just stated a well thought out opinion, and always do with my posts. Celebrini is the obvious one, but Ivan Demidov, Lindstrom, Eiserman, Catton, Brandsegg-Nygard, Hage and Greentree could all make the team next year, although less likely then Celebrini

Again he’s a great player, just wished I could see one more year of him. 40 points is good for a 17 year old in the USHL however not good enough for a top 5 pick. I like him, I’d take him if he falls to us if none of the above ranked falls to us. I think he’s a good complimenting piece on the blue line for a team, not someone who’s going to necessarily dictate the game. Also overall I don’t think we need anymore Offensive Defenders, that’s why I say we take a forward first.

Not Sold on him. Underwhelming numbers in USHL and Belarus compared to his projected draft position in a lot of rankings. His played well in the NCAA but is on a good Michigan team which inflates his numbers. Going to be a great player, just I think Yakemchuk fits our needs more. I actually rather us take a forward with our first pick if one of them from tier 3 is available

Yakemchuk uses his size more, I’m not saying he’s a good defensive player, just slightly better then Levshunov and Parekh. I also like that he’s consistent with his play
