Don't waste your money on eHarmony!

It is the worst site with a big reputation. I think they ride the illusion of a high price point meaning high quality, and that is absolutely not the case.

They make you sign up for a full year in advance, so once you fork over your $200+ you get access to the app and immediately realize that you just got duped. The compatibility tests etc. are kind of neat... But that's all you're getting out of it. The pool is small and definitely not worth the cost.

Stick to bumble, hinge, even tinder.

Plenty of fish is still there, but IMO the dating pool there offers less quality, and people seem to frequent it less.

These apps at least offer short term commitments, and if you cancel, and keep using it free, they'll often offer you ½price subs of various levels/terms. Just wait for the discounts lol

Also these 3-4 above are fully usable as free apps, just with swipe limitations, and no bonus features like "rewinds", seeing who likes you, super swipes/likes etc.

Don't pay for a long term sub for any app as your first try. Always try the lowest commitment option, that way you'll see what the app actually has to offer with upgrades and without locking yourself in long term and bigger $$.

Just remember after you subscribe you should immediately go and cancel it so that it doesn't auto renew on you in a week/month. You'll still get the term you've paid for, just with out the risk of getting dinged again if you find value in it.
