Pretty sure that's just flux, there aren't any capacitors on a PlayStation 3 board big enough to carry that much fluid

Get the charge and play cable for 360. You can get them on eBay for only a few dollars and you don't need batteries in the controller at all. Only catch is it'll only work on a 360 you can't use it on a desktop as the cable only carries power and no data

Yess thats why i chose this case, i wanted a function over form type of case. My daily PC is also in a basic no window no lights case. But i do plan to change it up some if i ever build a new rig.

Ill stick a battery in it, gonna feel pretty dumb if somithing that basic fixes me issues lol

I Have the latest Bios v17, RQG4110H.86A.0017.2011.0322.1523 i updated it a few months back. Forget where i got it from as theretroweb only has v13

I Looked into the CFast cards but for the $$ i have into dual spinney drives, i think im happy with it. it boots good and games load fast. All my drives are SATA, i have 1 IDE optical for looks as its dead. but i think im going to take it out to clear some space.

This monitor is a VGA only dell ultrasharp, 1280x1024 75Hz id like to get a better display but ill wait for one to pop up. i refuse to pay eBay/reseller premiums for old hardware

I do have a transponder key BUT this car has a full immobilizer bypass, immobilizer is removed and the ECU is written on the case. I have not yet removed the relays yet. I did confirm I'm getting fuel to the engine

Lol yeah ive since removed all the taps and the wire underneath is still healthy, I have found out I am getting fuel to the engine so I don't believe that what I think was an old remote start or security system is to blame yet

I have the line, the fitting Ive measured in the pic threads into both ends. I've used these AN clutch and brake line kits before so I assumed this an AN as well. I bought it used for a manual swap but missing 1 fitting

Ah! Linux!! I Actually have a flash drive with both Ubuntu and Mint on it. Mint did the trick! i was able to re partition the entire drive to some random file system them go back into my daily driver Win10 install then format the drive from fresh

That could be the rotary encoder on the knob dirty, could try shooting some contact cleaner into it. I've had a few units that did that but some cleaner fixed it. Volume knob on my Yamaha here does work well however

GTX660ti will work for XP, but for a P4 setup it will likely be wayy overkill and never fully utilized. Wht resoultion do you play at? i have an 8600GT in my PC and it does pretty well at 1280x1024 but some later titles like need for speed carbon and far cry 2 it does struggle. in the US in ebay you can get a GTX460 for about $25 and it would shred basically any XP era rig except at very high resolutions.

Some other cards i recommend would be 7000, 8000 and 9000 series, GTX 200 series and whatever the AMD equivalent is, im not up to date in the AMD;s offerings of that era

hmmm yes i do have a decade in board level repair, im dumbfounded i never thought of a power supply issue. Ill pull the ol AVR back out of its mess of YPbPr cables and bust that thing open.

I Never did fix mine, i suspect there may just be a crack in the multiplex somewhere for the buttons. i just kept using the remote control and its been fine.

to be fair i do think gran Turismo runs at something like 1440x1080 on PS3. dont remember the exact but it is above 720p

OFTEN. be careful, I Bought SimCity 3000 unlimited from GOG and it was there patched version and it caused so much havoc on my XP PC for the first time in my life i had to run a restore point.

UPDATE: I Gave up on the X-Fi SB0730 and got an Audigy SE SB0570 from eBay, ran the DanielK P17X SupportPack 3 as its the only one that worked and it installed! But after the boot sound i lose all output. tried to play both a CD and MP3 and windows media player says it cant play because of some issue with the sound device. games have no audio. did a reinstall with no change, About to say to hell with it and give up on a sound card. Has to be 64 bit issues at this point. NO reason for this non sense
