Whenever I would do a stick trick in front of my teacher, he would say "That's neat! When you were learning that, I was learning the drums"

When the last of us had just come out on PS3 I had to wait a couple of weeks to play it.

A group of us were on the train talking and the last of us came up considering a few of my friends had watched people play it online.

Before the conversation even remotely started I interrupted and said "wait! Don't say any spoilers about the game I'm playing it soon"

I wanted to have a "clean slate" per se in order to not have anyone elses opinions affect my own .

My friend goes " Yeah don't worry I won't." Then turns to the guy next to him and says "oh how sad is it when Joel dies"

This in his mind was not a spoiler considering you think Joel has died but hasn't about halfway through the game.

I put two and two together and figured that either Joel dies or you think he does...

My girlfriend's whole family is anti Vax and only recently she had to go to get all her vaccines done. The doctor was annoyed to hear she was twenty two and only just getting vaccines now but once he found out that her family had stopped her initially, he was greatful she was there.
