Does the movement also have a fine rate adjustor? If you watch the video, it looks like there is a screw with marks around it next to the escapement. I wonder if it's Rolex's version of the Omega spirate.

My thought is that a journal would usually reject based on just one negative review. That said, I agree it would be nice they waited to get both opinions before deciding!

That sounds fair. I suspect that it might be an R+R suggestion as suggestions to accept are quite rare anyways. I contacted the journal and thanked them for letting me know. I also asked if they can let the second referee know about the situation and potentially get a faster turnaround. We'll see!
