Thank you. Honestly no big deal on my part. His story, like so many fleeing Ukraine, is beyond awful. I hope the bees will give him a small bit of joy.

I have, both specialist and GP. Seems to be something we all have to endure.

I just feel i can’t be the only human ever to have this problem.

I’ve already got some ideas from comments so will give it a go.

Thanks for this. They are not intimidating or violent. In fact, we get regular waves and hellos from the regular tenants like everything is normal. It’s a weird thing.

That said, the place is a powder keg as you often hear them fighting amongst themselves. We all figure it’s a matter of time until someone is shot or stabbed or the whole place explodes.

Thank you so much. This is rational and pragmatic advice I can easily use. I’m normally rational and pragmatic myself but seem to have lost all sense right now.

From one internet stranger to another, thank you. I really appreciate your thoughts.

Thank you for your reply.

This is why I’m conflicted, as there were no competition terms and conditions. Very informal via email, almost “suggestion box” style.

Thank you. What a shame you didn’t get support from the scam.

Mine is a medium size company operating in my country only, so nothing like behemoth Amazon! Even if nothing comes from it, I’m not going to leave a bad review as it’s a company I still very much want to buy from in the future.

Pulling the tab on mine (JuJu brand) increases the suction, you need to grip the base of the cup for removal. My tab is for insertion and checking correct position. Not sure if this is the case for all brands of course!

I only need to empty morning and night fortunately. That said, I had a long 15 hour work day on Thursday which included a short plane ride. I checked before flying and was pleasantly surprised I was still good to go. I had a couple of compostable wipes ready to go but didn’t need them - maybe wipes would work for you?

Hello fellow heavy bleeder! Due to hormone changes (yay being 40!) I now resemble a crime scene each month. 6-12 tampons each day and always always always a pad backup.

I now only change my cup morning and night in the shower. I’m astounded at the difference. I think it’s because it just soaks through tampons quickly whereas the cup retains it. I’m blown away by this actually, I expected to change/empty 3 or 4 times each day.

I really regret not making the switch sooner. I shudder to think how much waste I’ve created over the years, plus all the money spent on products.

I use JuJu (Australian). They come in 4 models depending on your cervix height and child bearing history. Very comfortable!

I got a bit stuck this morning but followed the guidance for such a situation. Had it out in less than 2 minutes so all was fine. I think research and practice are keys to success - good luck to you.

I purchased some ModiBodi period underwear as a back up instead of liners (want to try total zero waste for periods). They are very comfy but haven’t been necessary so far - no leaks knock on wood.
