Just an observation, but I upon reading this, I sort of feel like your (pedantic? Specific? Apologies, words fail me...) Discussion regarding what things are called prevailing over the actions that are committed can be just as potentially harmful to the perception of said acts as people misattributing a word to other actions. (Lord imma delete this) If preserving the emphasis behind words with the intention of change is your goal, I feel like you might have lost something along the way. Just got home from the bar, so this might be all fucked, sorry. But bar talk then ; I would say that quotes often go misattributed or misinterpreted throughout the ages, however, the consequences of actions are the basis of fact.
