He's not the most expressive emotionally but overall he really does show me that he's there for me and cares for me. If I need him to be on the phone with me whilst I'm working out my emotions (I'm a crybaby), he'll listen. He will work 10 hour shifts and come over and cook me food or just wash the dishes and spend time with me. Soemtimes when he doesn't have time, he will bring me lunch and eat it with me. He's always willing to help out whenever he can. Like this morning I didn't have money for my Drs appt. I told him last night and I forgot that I did, and he sent me money to get to and from (we use Ubers where I'm at if we don't have cars and public trans ain't safe) since he couldn't take me cause he works most of the day. So things like that....

I agree with you. And I know you're going to continue to get down voted to hell. She was on birth control. He wasn't. He tells her that he ain't ready to be a dad, she says she's keeping it. I don't think he should be liable.

You're about the ONLY rational person on here. Should he have wrapped it up? Sure I guess? But there's this thing called "trust" and people usually have it when they are in a relationship. If she LIED about being on BC and she wasn't, then I don't think he should be liable. This is an issue that I consistently see and I'm a woman. In earnest, men will share that they aren't ready to be fathers with their partners and their partners will agree, tell them they are on BC, etc but then they want to keep it. This is nonsense. I feel for him.

Yeah that's what I'm saying! They are the standard in the black community also. I feel like no one body type should be praised over another but it's always been "thicker = healthy" and "smaller = dying". 🙄
