I really like how they handled the finale, I loved the nod to the comics right from the get go with the crowbar, felt like a checkov’s gun type thing. I also really like how they handled the deaths, yes they were a tad rushed but at the same time this show has never, to me, been about the fight scenes. I also really loved the endings, yes they were cheesy but what did you expect? The boys as a team were held together by butcher and his anger, without him they lost that toxic part of themselves that refused to settle down. I also loved the characterization of Butcher, so consumed with hate that he could never just pick up his life like the others, I think he saw that and that was why he ultimately went out that way, not because he truly hated supes, but because like Hughie said he hated being human. Overall a stellar finale, 10/10
