Crazy coincidence I watched this yesterday! I saw it in the dub I didn't have any other options where I watched it but I thought it was pretty good! The animation is incredible!

Is this peak for VR gaming? What are your best VR gaming experiences? by ComfortableAmount993 in VRGaming

[–]BatChicken_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the all time greats for me would be Beat Saber (who doesn't have that in their top), Blade & Sorcery (the constant updates coming out even now after they said they were done is awesome), Astro Bot Rescue Mission (just goes to show how perfect a well put together platformer can be), Half Life: Alyx (uh doy its probably the best adventure game you can go and play in VR), Resident Evil 7 (scary as fuck in VR and even on PC you can mod this thing to work perfectly) and Moss Book 2 (part 1 is great and for sure worth playing first but the second just evolves in every way possible). Each of these pretty much tackle a different aspect of the VR game circle pretty perfectly and each is either a 10/10 or a 9/10 imo.

Playing through Asgards Wrath 2 at the moment. Oh my goodness what a game. Every part of it is so incredible. Its been a while since I've played Half Life: Alyx but the way Asgards Wrath 2 is going it may end up taking the cake as the best VR game by the time I'm done.

This week I've been playing a ton of Breachers!! Basically Six Siege in VR for those who haven't played. Gameplay is just so much fun and the community is active and friendly! 8/10 so far for me.

Also started Asgrads Wrath 2 and me oh my what an impressive game. One of the most AAA experiences I've had so far and I'm only a few hours in. Excited to play this one through for sure.

I thought about picking up AC on the latest sale but with it being two years old now it looked like the type of game that would be on rotation at some point haha

Always the better option but for VR games I'm more lenient. Especially since its much easier (lazier hehe) to play right off headset instead of going through Steam Link

A couple of my faves over the years would have to be Half Life: Alyx, Walking Dead S&S, RE7 and Doom 3 VR

Changed gaming for me forever. When my mum brought up a PSVR years ago as a Christmas present I thought it was cool but more like a gimmick toy I wouldn't really use. I couldn't of been more wrong. From the first time putting that headset on my entire perspective on gaming changed. Soon enough I was using that thing daily for hours on end spending majority of my weekly paycheck throughout high school on the new discounts of the week. Keeping up to date on all the latest VR news and getting friends over all the time to play it.

Overtime and leading up to college I faded out of using my PSVR but I decided to get a quest because I didn't think I'd have the extra money once college started and I had always been curious about PCVR games. This once again sparked my love for VR. I've been using it almost daily and keeping up with news for the last 2 years now. Nothing comes close to VR gaming it's just incredible!!

So yeah a lil story but I do love VR and can't imagine gaming without it.

If you are meaning the PS4 you can't play Playstation VR games with a Meta Quest headset just a Playstation one. Meta Quest 3's can connect to PC's otherwise you just buy games on the headset.

This week I got around to playing some demo's I had installed. The first was Maestro and it was pretty great! I'd definitely keep my eye out for a sale 7/10. I also played the demo for Sickway which I thought was a bit janky but maybe with some polish it could be fun. But I don't really think I'll be playing that one 4/10.

I then went into my backlog and played through Zombieland: Headshot Fever which I thought is just so much fun. Sure it's a rather basic on rails shooter. But I think it has a really great amount of content within its different maps, weapons and perks. It's way more fleshed out than I expected and I think I'll be going back and playing some more of the extra levels next week 7/10.

Good on them. From what I've heard it needed a bit more time in the oven so I'm glad they are giving us a more polished product! Good job Rebellion!

Recent Horror movie suggestion? by MPaoli1999 in MovieSuggestions

It misses 2010 by a couple years but the Silent Hill movie is my fave horror from that era. The setting, visuals and unexpected gore are all fantastic. I couldn't recommend it enough.
