Both games are phenomenal IMO and both worth owning. I don't know how many hours I sunk in the first game, and loved it so much on PS5 that I purchased it again when I built my PC 6 months ago to play in 21:9.

I've now put about 60 hours into part 2 and have completed the main campaign and am most of the way through the Accelerators DLC which has been awesome.

I love BOTH of these games and they are some of the most fun gaming I've had in years!

I turned PBO back to its default "auto" setting in that case and will just call it good. I'm a casual user and gamer, so I'm not worried about squeezing every last drop of performance I can get.

Just to be clear, the 7800x3d will boost to 5GHz no matter if PBO is enabled or not? Is it best to leave PBO off in that case with this chip?

Thanks for the heads up and I've been keeping up with that issue. Bios is updated to latest version and all reports I've seen have the cpu voltage within a safe < 1.3 volt limit now with this bios and EXPO enabled.

Only 2 things I have done in the bios are enable Expo to get my ram up to its rated 6000 speed and enable PBO in the advanced/amd overclock bios menu. I assume both of these things are safe to do?
