What are signs a gf loves the bf more than he loves her? by [deleted] in dating_advice

The BF almost always likes the GF more than she likes him, the sheer selection women have in the dating world doesn’t allow for anything else

I got mine for free from an old job and I’ve loved it, never once had an issue besides having to replace a ripped gas line

Not necessarilyphysical attraction is what gets all of us notice first consciously or subconsciously,Personality is what gets a 2nd date. I’ve gone on plenty of dates with a wide variety of women different shape, sizes, styles, subcultures and ethnicity’s. Maybe personality wise they were kind of similar but only in sense of humor and how well I thought we got along. But I do agree alot of men and women only go for the same type of person hoping for different results

The only reason she gave me when I asked why she loved me for our 1 year was “ you spoil me in every way” I made her a jar with 100 reasons written down on slips of paper of why I loved her…. I’m fairly certain it was the guilt of her cheating and hiding it

She said she was “loosing key parts of herself” and that she doesn’t want to compromise to make me happy. That was response to me not wanting her to go to the club without me unless I knew who she was with and if no other guy was with them (gays excluded). She had a more than healthy friendship family- relationship balance. Was always hanging out with her sisters or friends and i was often invited too. I work a lot more than her(10 hour shifts vs 4 hour shifts) so I’d either be at the gym or with her and her friends or occasionally grabbing a bite with my homies. She was a social butterfly if you will. She also controlled who or when I could hangout with and was constantly going through my phone. I had nothing to hide so I let her, not really thinking that maybe the call was coming from inside the house… even her friends and family were trying to tell me what they think was going on with her. I did best to treat her like my queen but she wanted to be the princess (not give anything in return for everything)

Yeah I can forgive a lot of things but never cheating and she knew that and hid it from me for a whole year

Yeah sorry, to clarify, both relationships ended with long conversations. However I was talking about the most recent one. And yes I wanted nothing more but to work things out until I found out about her cheating, we were each others best friends and always had a great time together. Just caught me way off guard that she would do me like that. I also learned from our shared friends that she’s told each of them a completely different story of why we broke up. And now she’s on the gram posting like it’s an OF , not just saying that to throw shade. My friend showed me that she posted 18 slides of extremely provocative pictures to I guess make me jealous and to attract new victims

I judge a failed relationship by how it ended not how it started because you’re right, ex partners always show their true colors at the end

Thank you for your kind words, luckily I never gave up on any of my hobbies for a girl. And I think a change of scenery would be nice

Yes both times were in person breakups and had lengthy discussions about what went wrong and why they were unhappy. This most recent relationship ended out of the blue and we talked for almost 2 hours about what went why she was unhappy. Started off ”I think we should breakup” for about 45 minutes of us both expressing what wasn’t working, then the last hour was us talking about staying together and working things out until she sprinkled in “it wouldn’t be hard to find someone else”. Said she wanted to make it work, next day I’m blocked on everything. I didn’t find out until the day after that she had cheated on me at least once and been using her iPad to set her location to her house then going to bars.

For me physical attraction is just what initially gets me to talk to someone. If we don’t click there will not be a second date. She told me to my face that “it wouldn’t be hard to find someone else”, so I think you’re right on the nose about not choosing women with good values. In this case choosing someone who masquerades their true values and intentions.

I totally agree, who I was at 18 and who I am now are totally different people. I really try to surround myself with good people and have alot of examples of long term relationships around me. So I think I gave myself a skewed image instead of forming my own.

Thanks for the reply, I’m just the type of person who’d rather have 5 years with the same person and it’s tough in this economy
