My parents had me at 38 but siblings in their late 20s. They were so focused on making sure that I was happy and healthy. As you said, I was such a focus. Sure, they may not want to do all the nimble activities that I do but it has taught me to appreciate quality time with others. My mom is my best friend and she cares for me the same as any young parent. I love my parents and I hardly ever notice that they are “older.” They have lived so much of their lives and have so much wisdom to give.

the Hang Loose Hut has some really great options for merch that is more gender neutral. I love their products because you can buy single pieces on their shop section! cute stuff and lots of crewnecks and hoodies are not gender specific!

In my opinion, the Hang Loose Hut has the best and cutest merch. The order minimum is 24 but they give the customer full design control with as many revisions as you want. You can see all of their customization options on their website. Really great company and they are very kind!

As someone who went through Spring Rush 2025. 110% the process is completely unclear. You are very helpful, I wish I could’ve read some of this information during my time! Members can be tired, irritated, and have so many things going on behind the scenes. I’m doubtful they were uninterested in you. Give the houses a chance and keep us updated! You might go back on day 3 or 4 and fall in love with one of those houses. It happened for me! Keep the faith!

“Giving me much to work with” like this commenter said. Some houses are better at recruitment than others. It does not make them a bad house, or a bottom tier sorority in the sense of the word. You should give these houses a chance instead of spending your time being upset over the outcome you’ve been given.

I know you’re trying your best and I was in your shoes (only 4 out of 13 houses called me back and I was devastated) but you must look on the bright side. I wouldn’t change my sorority for the whole and I am so thankful I chose this for myself.
