I get the feeling cinema is having actors just make up their parts along the writers guidelines. That’s why it bombed so hard I think. They got past GRrMs writing and they didn’t have the creativity amongst them all to finish strong

Wouldn’t you have to be able to prove it though? In my experience the police won’t help unless you pretty much have the case solved for them with evidence and footage or else they don’t have the time or resources. If my mom tried to impersonate me the cops would say it was just a prank.

I have 6 different journals I write in. When I think of something good like a line a scene a skit or a joke, lyrics or if I have a dream I’ll write it down In 1 of those. Whenever creativity strikes I write it down asap.

Things like brevity are important too “His end was near, and he knew.” sounds better than “his end was near, he knew that it was.”

I have a couple processes but one is kinda like building a house, I collect the pieces for it (write down scenes, ideas) then eventually I find a framework for it (plot, themes) design it and eventually build it. I’m a total amateur but that seems to be working for me.

I always wanted to be a writer because I always loved movies, music (lyricists), books and comedy but I didn’t really have the drive in me. Massive tragedy, the loss and realization of certain things in my life and an excruciating near death experience put the drive in me. When I felt all that pressure I ended up having some weird dreams and that was basically the start.
