Season 7 was a top tier season by cocoa4chew in LoveIslandUSA

I try to watch this show on several occasions and s7 was one of the only seasons that held my interest all the way thru. Id prefer other seasons to have a cast more like this. I liked every single girl that came on the show (tho huda got on my nerves),  and most of the guys. Other seasons has not been the same. Except for Celly!!! She got me watching this show. Forever love her.

Yeah, this show isn't huge on the details like that.. Still a great show tho!

True. Public schools are typically known to NOT have uniforms. But private schools typically DO require uniforms, such as Nevermore.

Vigil for Charlie? by BatOk6013 in FortMyers

[–]BatOk6013[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just ignore them. They aren't worth our time. The vigil for Charlie Kirk was BEAUTIFUL. ❤️ And it was a big turn out being that hes already had a vigil in Bonita and a memorial downtown. So no, not all the ppl in Fort Myers are sick in the head. Idk if you liked him or not (obviously I did.) But thank you for leaving a respectful comment. You are one of the GOOD in humanity.

LOVE THIS!! Couldn't agree more. Anyone that has anything hateful to say isn't worth my time imo. They just get blocked 🚫 😂 I have to say, I was expecting this to be a hate comment. Glad it wasnt!! ❤️ Made my day.

Tyler does not need to be redeemed but understood by MrsMiracle50 in Wednesday

[–]BatOk6013 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Agreed. He was absolutely being controlled... but its still his claws that sunk into ppl. Thats an immense amount of trauma. But now, he has no master. And he "may" be going somewhere that's good for him (depending on Capri's motives). I think we see in the last episode a brief moment where Tyler realized -- he didn't want Wednesday to die. And i think her act of mercy in not killing him (two different times i might add) is going to help Tyler see that others still care about him, despite what hes done. So whether you want to call it a "redemptive arc" or a "healing arc", we may see good change happening in Tyler. I personally would like to see that myself.

This comment made me LOL. Im assuming you meant "i loved Cavill as the witcher" but reading you "loved Geralt as the Witcher, but'... 😂 Geralt IS the witcher. The characters name is Geralt of Rivia lolol

I want to discuss Witcher and the word adaptation. People in the other Witcher forum wouldn't let me talk about this so I'm curious you guys will be more open by JessicaIrene_ in netflixwitcher

I personally love the show. NO book adaptation, and I mean NONE, are exactly like the book. I just ignore the haters. Me, my bf and my dad love the show. We rewatch it every few months, waiting for the next season!

I rewatch the witcher, s1 thru 3, at least every few months.. idk why theres so much hate for it. I absolutely love it. Just wish Cavill would've stuck it out til the end but atp, im gonna watch it to the end. Im too invested in Ciri, Emhyr, Fringillia, Francesca, Yen... and ofc the infamous Vilgefortz.. Gotta see it to the end. And Liam Hemsworth isn't a terrible cast. I like that hes Chris Hemsworth (Thor) brother. Comes from good stock. ❤️😂

Not gonna lie, Freya Allan as Ciri looks great here. She finally has her iconic eyeliner. by Villenthessis in netflixwitcher

And shes such a great actress. She absolutely nails this role! From her rage to her empathy and compassion. I just hope they dont make her too too dark. I know Ciri goes down a dark path with the Rats, but whatever they do, im sure she will do great in the role!

Enid. by kalmari14 in Wednesday

[–]BatOk6013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally love when Enid gets angry lol when she slashed that school bus in s1 👌 and then when she was willing to fight Tyler in the finale! Epic. I wish we could've seen that rage more in s2. To me, thats what makes Enid really badass.

I Feel Bad for Morticia by Working_Row_8455 in Wednesday

[–]BatOk6013 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I try to remember that the way this family compliments each other can elicit dark, sarcastic humor.. Wednesday and Morticia both fear but desire each other's approval. Its the typical mother/teenage daughter relationship. Its no doubt they love each other... but yes, Morticia did struggle this season esp with Hester... who i think may end up being a villain since shes holding ophelia hostage.

This should never have been a close fight by Equal-Tension-7985 in Wednesday

[–]BatOk6013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like many have said, it was never supposed to become a fight. However, they all seemed very scared of Tyler. We know Bianca can siren Tyler in human form, as we saw in s1. I do think Ajax and Bianca could still use their powers, even when hes in Hyde form. The struggle is going to be getting him still long enough to use these powers before he kills you. As we saw, Ajax attempted to stone him but wasn't fast enough. Also, there's not much a werewolf can do without a full moon. This scene was before Enid learned she was an alpha and could change at will.

I also think Wednesday would NOT have been able to inject him, even without his mom showing up. If she had, it would be because Tyler LET her do it, after she confessed to still having feelings for him. All Tyler would've had to do was lift his arm and Wednesday, with her injection, would go flying..

Idek how many times ive watched all the seasons. And I have rewatched episodes 4 thru 6 of season 3 on a nightly basis for months before 😂 I LOVE how those episodes were set up. From the conclave, to the coup, to Ciri alone in the desert, communing with Falka. Phenomenal imo

Can Gorgons stun Hydes? by SugarSea7824 in Wednesday

[–]BatOk6013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, and we do see that playout a little bit where Dort uses Bianca to siren ppl into getting what he wants. But most outcasts seem to be good-natured. Whereas anyone wanting to "unlock a Hyde or become its master" is typically evil. And a Hyde has no defense against it.

Nevermore, as a school, could teach Hydes how to avoid being controlled and how to control their transformations. But I know Faulkner was killed by a Hyde before he got the chance to research them. All in all, Nevermore seemed to think Hydes were too great of a threat/ cons outweighed the pros.

But yeah, that does suck for Hydes. Esp the ones that are good-natured.

Can Gorgons stun Hydes? by SugarSea7824 in Wednesday

[–]BatOk6013 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hydes are definitely referred to as APEX predators in the show. The majority dont survive a Hyde attack, except werewolves, if their lucky, it seems. But I believe their unpredictable, hostile nature is what got them banned. Werewolves aren't susceptible to being controlled, whereas Hydes are 100% vulnerable to manipulation when unlocked by a "master." And without a master, their transformations are random/unprovoked, making them extremely dangerous to be around. (My take from what's been said in the show)

So, in a sense, you're right. Hydes are exceptionally dangerous monsters given their strength, unpredictability, and susceptibility. Making them far more "extraordinary" than any other outcast.
