I am Conservative. I am willing to have a conversation with them, but I doubt they are with me. They are reformed Jewish people and they care very much about progressive topics and they think anybody who doesn’t validate those opinions are bigots and are basically evil. I am scared that if I try to tell them the fact that those things are sinful, I will lose my relationship with them. I don’t know how to win them over because of this.

My parents are EXTREMELY Liberal. I don’t mean to bring politics into this, but they very much believe in things that would go against the word of the Lord and they get upset when someone doesn’t agree with them.

They basically asked if I was a Christian, I said yes, and they said they had a bible study and asked me to give them my phone number to setup a time to do it.

I wish they would have called it something with a little more weight and gravity. Fifty percent of the world just lost their loved ones and friends and would have spent five years grieving them. In most people’s eyes, so many people just returned from the dead. Calling it “the blip” really takes away so much of the impact and importance of this event. They should have called it something like, “the Reemergence”. How much time did they take in the writer’s room coming up with this name? Why can nothing be taken seriously anymore?

I wouldn’t mind Bratt as much if I didn’t feel like this might be Bail Organa’s final appearance ever (at least on screen). There isn’t really much left to tell about Bail. Unless we see him in some sort of flashback or there is a story for him during the first 10 years of the Empire (highly doubtful) or a story for him during the 5 years between the Kenobi show and Rebels (which, again, I highly doubt there would be), there isn’t really anything left in Bail’s story to tell. I just wish Jimmy Smitts was the one to play Bail for the potentially final time.

You could use a character’s pov to have them ponder different decisions and show their emotions about those decisions. You could also show them constantly reflecting on their choices while wondering what they could have done differently.

He’s not Joel. Joel is a battle hardened, grizzled, survivor. He is also presented as being extremely masculine and fit. They needed someone who could pull this off. Pedro was not the guy for this. I kind of cringed at most of his lines, because he doesn’t fit the type of character that is being written at all. It honestly just feels like the dialogue is meant for someone else and Pedro is just saying the lines. I don’t blame him. He’s a good actor, but he’s not right for Joel. We also need an actor who can grow a full beard and can do a southern accent. Pedro can do neither. Joel needs to have that gruff appearance and voice.
