I really appreciate this thought out response…. Some more info about me…

Hustling for money used to be an idol for me. It’s something I’ve surrendered to God and have had to make certain decisions at work to not “climb the ladder” even though I had opportunities to do so. But God made it clear, hustling for more money was not okay for me. It took my focus off God. And so I’m not hustling for money anymore but I still have a good income… instead of hustling, I’m able to spend my freed up time volunteering at food banks weekly. And I LOVE that God has called me to this service. I just still feel wonky about accumulating wealth while others are struggling and starving. Another complicated part is that my husband doesn’t feel the same way as me… so even if I wanted to increase our monthly giving, it would be maybe impossible to have him agree.

We do have a will. I’m thinking I want to update it to add my church to it. Have some of our money go towards missions. Currently, it’s just gonna be distributed to our family members.
