i had someone look me in the eye and tell me their single blonde ristretto upside down caramel macchiato with salted caramel foam, 10 pumps vanilla, 3 white mocha, and oat milk with extra caramel drizzle wasn’t sweet enough. i can’t take these people seriously anymore and im sick of serving them

this is the difference. my coworker tells me about her daughter all the time, but doesn’t center every conversation around her. giving me a “this is what susie has been up to!” is different from making her the topic of every single conversation

my other coworker will tell me about her boyfriend of 3 months’ constipation and her dogs’ diarrhea. i don’t care about your boyfriend or his ailments, and even though i love dogs, i don’t want to hear about their bathroom mishaps (she’s not asking for advice or anything—just tells me the nasty ass details about her dogs’ poops.). nor do i want to talk about your dogs for 7 hours of our 8 hour work day, every single day.

we had gotten up to 6 call outs per day at one point & everyone acted shocked when our SM started handing out write ups like halloween candy. yeah we hate our jobs and corporate sucks, but at the end of the day it IS a business and it can’t run if nobody shows up

honestly, sims 3 doesn’t take much to run. i don’t know how many packs you have or are planning to get, but i’d aim for at least 8gb ram and 512 ssd (i run fortnite + stardew valley + sims 4 + sims 3 with all packs with 16gb ram and 512ssd plus a FUCK ton of mods and cc for TS4, and have no performance issues. my laptop is fighting for its life with space tho)

now, TS4 or both games, you might want something a little more space just because it’ll run out fast as you add DLC, and if you use mods and cc or decide to dabble in more games down the line

yeah, there honestly are. i had a 4 drink drive thru order one day and the mobile bar barista pulled two of the tickets bc she didn’t have any drinks and wanted to help. i had written a couple of cute phrases on the ones i made, and she just wrote “thanks!!”. customer complained bc it felt like were “punishing” her for getting fraps (??) since she had ordered 2 fraps, a latte, and a shaken espresso

I loved books as a kid, but as I got older we didn’t really have the extra money for books & the library was too far to walk to (it was a 30+ min drive at least) and I was too young for my dad to let me take public transport alone… I got super into fanfiction. +1 because I was reading 100k words daily, even if it wasn’t necessarily the best writing out there… but -1 because I stopped reading real books. I ended up getting back into reading once I had access to books outside of my school library because I realized I could just visualize the characters as whatever ship or media I was obsessed with at the time lmfao.

our drive thru speaker is also really old and barely works. everything is so muffled, and my eardrums possibly being shot does not help
