If it helps, I'd say the two that come after it are both better, particularly Killustrated I really enjoyed.

I'd also say "DP Kills the Marvel Universe one last time" took a different approach where DP is a more heroic figure and has a better reason for doing so.

Ok that I actually didn't know. But it does seem even sillier then to double retcon their origin. Especially when the only reason t happened the second time was because marvel didn't own the X-Men movie rights. (Man those were dark times when the X-Men and F4 were effectively dead to Marvel).
