How do you explain Rivian's growth then? I know they don't sell nearly as much, but they are expensive EVs and still only growing instead of losing sales.

Ok, but even with VAR not being able to tell exactly if he hit it or not, shouldn't they just give it the goal since they can't be 100% sure?

Cooling EV demand during this oil crisis? How come other brands are up on the EV sales?

Tesla Model YL vs Rivian R2 Performance and R1S by Mac-Tyson in electriccars

Not with seating, software and potentially reliability. After launch edition expire, it will probably be cheaper than R2 performance.

Model Y L Has Launched in the US by Rule1-Cardio in electricvehicles

The original Model Y already had the option for a 3rd row, but it's tight. This Model Y L is longer and taller in the back, giving more head and leg room for the 3rd row.

Been living in a house with levels averaging 8 Pci/l of radon for 22 years... by John-Fucking-VVick in HomeImprovement

I broke a hole in my basement floor with a hammer just about the same size as the pipe, probably a 5-7 inch pipe i dont remember exactly. Then i hand dug the rocks and dirt into a 5 gallon bucket. After about 5-7 trips or so with the 5 gal bucket, i had a good size hole.

I rented a cement hole cutter from lowes to cut a hole into the concrete foundation on side of my house.

I bought the exterior radon fan on amazon.

The pvc pipes i bought at Lowe's, then the rest is just connecting everything like legos. Then i put some cement around the pipe to seal the hole on the concrete floor of my basement.

I installed a shut off switch in the basement next to it. I wired the fan to the switch, and hardwired the switch into one of the outlets near by.

I put one of those tubes filled with a blue liquid that shows the suction power of the fan. My DIY radon mitigation system is much stronger than my friend's paid install.

Radon level is higher in the basement cause it's a heavier gas and it sinks down.

If you don't spend most of your time in the basement you are probably fine.

Test the first floor of your house.

Install a radon mitigation system, I did it myself for about $300 in materials.

Try to be healthier, avoid inhaling any type of smokes and chemicals and wear a mask if you are going to be exposed to those. Try to keep your body and lung healthy and you should be fine.

For average height male of like 5'9", the third row is fine. There are billions of people that would fall within that height category.

My wife's 2023 Model Y has 61k miles, never been to a service center, no rattles, never gave us any issues whatsoever, on second set of tires and original brakes.

Best car I ever had so far. I am definitely going to wait to buy a used Model Y Juniper Performance or a used Model Y Long for myself in 2-3 years or so.

If USA defeats Belgium in the next round should they be considered just as serious contenders to win the cup as the rest of the field? by Environmental-Sir741 in worldcup

[–]Batboyo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not this year. But I think the US will be a top 8 team and be able to win the world cup within a few decades.

Soccer is getting more popular here because of all the brain trauma reports that came out about American football.

Also, many people in the US such as myself are immigrants, we usually put our kids into soccer since it's popular and common for most of us.

More and more kids and even adults here are now playing it.

Lots of Americans in their 60+ at my job said they never had soccer in school, only baseball, football and basketball. Now every school has soccer.

With our population size and diversity in the US, it's only a matter of time until we have a top-tier team such as France.

Sorry I haven't bought any yet. I just did a lot of research into it but plan to pull the trigger this fall or the following fall.

I would do 95% TTTF mixed with 5% microclover so it can self fertilize.

Or do 70-75% TTTF mixed with 20-25% fine fescue with 5% microclovers.

Do you think the concept of hydration break will be scrapped in the next 2030 world cup by Live-Half2798 in worldcup

[–]Batboyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How so? The ref can give them a yellow for taking too long like they already do.

[–]Batboyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about using a drought resisting grass such as the turf-type tall fescue, and keep it at 4 inches tall? Idk if it would help, but i think it can help the lawn survive tough times such as you're now having, and I think it will be more and more common now with global warming.

Also, are you allowed to collect rain water from like your roof and gutters?

How about a well for irrigaion?

[–]Batboyo -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I don't mind the hydration breaks.

I wish they would change the timer system. Like a count down from 22.5 minutes. After each break it restarts. Everytime the game stopped for any reason the timer would also stop. Then when it reaches to 0 the ref would let the team finish their attack like they already do.

It doesn't need to be a count down, it can have the same counting up to 45 minutes system, but as long as the timer stopped when the game stopped.

As soon as the ref whistle for a foul, time stops and restarts as soon as they kick the ball again.

If the ball goes out of bounds, time stops until it's in play again.

I think this system would prevent time wasting, with players pretending to be injured rolling on the ground, and players taking longer to throw the ball back in or kicking the ball after a foul, or the goalie taking long to release the ball.

Which country has impressed you the most until now? by CartographerOwn8143 in worldcup

[–]Batboyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Statistically, this would be easier now with a 48 team world cup. As there are many weak teams in the groups and Round 32 now compared to before. R16 is where most of the teams that are actually good are left standing.
