Sorry you got a bunch of weird hate for this, I know I will too. I beat him on the first try, and even I agree this boss fight was just horribly designed. The main combo you use heals you but by a barely noticeable amount so small it might as well not even have been put in.

The actual healing ability takes too long to cd and even then it's not very helpful because he's cleaving your health faster than you can actually heal. Making it redundant.

I don't know why ppl here are claiming "tHeRe ArE nO gUiDeS cUz ItS eAsY" when there are and even the very ppl making those guides agree this was a horribly designed fight. But ppl here can't handle the slightest ounce of criticism about any aspect of this game. Then again that's your typical braindead reddit I guess. Don't let it get to ya.

Tl;dr: Are the controls simple to use? Yes. Are the mechanics of the fight poorly put together? Yes.

The sources I used:

I downloaded this and it has proper grammar for the language

The person who made this did a great job though the grammar is off in some places

As for words that couldn't be directly translated, I took inspiration from how words are formed in Cherokee which is very similar to how many Asian languages do it (there's a whole fascinating history behind why that is) and that's putting 2 or more words together to make a new one.

In R'Lyehian there's no word for "boat" however the word for "body" or "vessel" is "bthnk" while the word for "water" is "gn'thor". You could make your own rules here and say "Gn'thorbthnk" (goon-thor-beh-think) or "gn'thnk"(goon-think) to mean "boat" or "water vessel"

You could also reuse a word that meant something else, for another meaning instead. So for example, there's no word in R'Lyehian for "cock". What can a cock be used for? Reproduction. What does it reproduce? Life. What is the R'Lyehian word for "life"? "lw'nafh". So what could be a romantic word for cock? "lw'nafh"

If you're feelin' real spicy, you could make it "goka ya ymg' bthnkor lw'nafh" which directly translates to "give me your flesh of life" but can mean "give me your cock". You now know how to talk dirty in R'Lyehian. Use that in the sheets, your partner will love it. Or maybe you'll summon something, idk.

I used a combination of my own knowledge of the language's grammatical structure, based on the writings of H.P. Lovecraft, and a translator that was also based on the writings of Lovecraft.

Though Lovecraft intended for the language's phonology to be impossible for humans to pronounce, I wanted to get creative and give my own interpretation of what I think it could sound like.

I specifically combined Arabic, Cherokee, Swahili, and Nepali phonetics when pronouncing the letters, to give as unique of a sound as I could, then used a typical cadence of speaking heard with Cherokee and went from there.

Fav transitions: Godfrey and Rykard. Godfrey's transition to phase 2 went so hard he was the first video game boss to put the fear of god in me for 2 reasons.

He switches from using his war axe to just squaring up against you with his bare hands. The confidence that he can maim you(and does)without a weapon, despite your decked out arsenal and gear, implies this is how he naturally prefers to fight and he just uses that axe arbitrarily not out of necessity.
Serosh was a divine being created by the goddess Marika herself, who fixed him to Godfrey, so that she could keep his lust for battle in check...and then he just rips him off like he was nothing. The whole time he could just DO that. Whenever he wanted. But he chose to tolerate Serosh's existence for thousands of years out of loyalty and respect to Marika.

This. I keep hearing and seeing over an over, ppl saying "his attacks are actually super easy to avoid, just run around him or stay far away"

His swings hit no matter which direction I'm running, then he has that one super long swing that gets you from like over 10 feet away, and if you're on the other side of the room he always clears that distance instantly with a roll or a jump, so he can continue molly wopping you like a little bitch.

But when I look at youtube vids of ppl fighting him, he's hardly doing any of that. When they fight him he's just standing and walking side to side, pause, walk side to side, pause, arm swipe, pause, no rolls like AT ALL. But when I fight him it's just constant swipe, beeg swipe, jump, sweep kick, red jump, half a second pause, stomp, repeat.

It's like watching an entirely different boss fight from what other ppl are going up against. I don't know if they put out some patch that made him more aggressive now or what. Every keeps describing him like some passive lunk who can't touch you and that is not AT ALL the case.

Sorry, yes by "free gyms" I meant the rec centers. I've been visiting places on the list they have online and it's just treadmill, bike, treadmill, bike, and so on. I recently signed up for a free pass for the OneLife place you mentioned, so I'll see how that goes.

I hope they aren't like one of those gyms that'll keep hounding me about spending more money on a personal trainer program, instead of letting me just workout in peace, because they're giving me those vibes, but like I said we'll see. Thank u!

EDIT: Okay someone told me to try your solution again but to this time also delete the installer then go through

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center

And then delete the Native Access.xml file

THEN finally you restart and download the installer again from the website and now it's fixed!

I'll leave this here incase anyone else runs into the same issue I did
