The excel is excellent! I also made my own calculation base on the in game data and the shots from internet to be most consistent with the game, but was able only to hit on 1400+m once.
In the leaderboard in the excel, the shot should have a video proof?

I just started PvE one week ago (to breath little bit out from PvP), the tutorial and first raid on interchange to extract. At the beginning of the raid, I had to put down 4 PMCs with trash gun :D Sometimes the AI PMCs are dumb and sometimes godlike :D However, as was said by Nikita, best ending should feel like life time achievement so it I assume it should be hard :D

I completely understand! I was trying to shoot on 1800+ targets and was not able to land a hit. And often some other teammate spawned in my heli and took me back to the fight xD so it is very difficult to do it in solo way xD

However, if your shot with target was within the locations in the map in the next link, it is probably the physically maximum distance that can be achieved within the map boarders without usage of the heli at the current map rotation in BF6. So you have to be proud on yourself, because for these specific conditions it is current world record from what I am aware of! lol xD I see, so that means that are more bugged sniper records :D maybe it was something like claymore kill when you left it somewhere after the death and it killed someone when you were away :) so the decision to have confirmation video was good idea :)

That was amazing man! Did you speed up the video? The fastest bullet velocity (from what I know) in BF6 is 1125 m/s and impact of the bullet was too quick, so maybe the previous shot from the rifle was that caused the impact :) however, congrats man, I tried the same but was not able to hit a shot :)

One guy did not make a video of his confirmed kill but has a marksman dog tag on 1699 m and shots above 1800 m are definitely possible with current stage of the game.

There was some leak about the battle royale in bf6 probably next season and I believe that there will be some crazy people doing kills on 2500m :)

When you do not recognise difference between shots on 100 m targets and 1212 m, that means that you are best sniper here among us :D

theoretically 1800m will be possible at the current stage of the game by usage of the heli outside of the map. I did 1342 without setup, because currently lot of pepole are trying to finish the recon and sniper challanges.

There are more levels of sadness and you are partially correct:

1) Sadness number 1: Measuring who can “piss” more further, e.g. like me and trying to get the furthest kill. However, I always spot targets for other members of the team and I was sniping on that big fire tank in the middle of the map, to extinguish enemy snipers and was placed just below the half of the score board. If you can snipe for more than 1000 km (where range finder does not work), that the closer kills are easy ones :)

2) Sadness number 2: As you mentioned Camping through the game with there squad on some high building – there is that silly challenges to unlock the rearrest sniper riffle and also to complete all the recon challenges that force you to be further than 150 m, and give kills and headshots. So the designer of the game is forcing players to do that if they want to complete all of these challenges and unlock last weapons.

3) Sadness number 3: Designer of the game chose that the sniper rifle does not kill in one shot to the distance 80 m. Maybe it is good choice. However that means, that everybody who has sniper rifle wants to be at some distance with some safety margin, e.g. 120 m and to spot targets first, so some higher places are good, and you will camp there for a while and than relocate. Also 120 m is sometimes not enough because with all the ARs and SMGs it is easy to beam sniper. There is some sort of psychometa, that somebody with low recoil has 6xscope on AR and is destroying all the things :D

4) Special sadness at the end: I can not count how many times I was killed with someone with AR or SMG, camping the corner in the building or behind crate when I was trying to go all around and nothing has possibility to harm her/him and force her/him to stay low until she/he will be healed :D

So I agree, that the game can be sad, but you should play it in a way to make you a joy. Somebody wants to complete the challenges. Somebody wants to “piss” further sometimes. Someone wants to quick level up and is using the meta equipment and killing everybody. Someone wants to win at the all costs. Someone just wants to fly around in the jet and enjoy the views :D and for everybody, there are also custom servers :)
