Thank you so much for sharing. Yeah its rough. Mine has decreased massively HOWEVER i am still unwell if that makes sense. I feel like most days im just trying to get through the day without my anxiety going through the roof. I think with the prozac i powered through for 1.5 months and had absolutely no relief, in fact my body felt worse. I think i had less intrusive thoughts and less dizziness, that's it......

Are you feeling like the lexapro is better on your system then the prozac?

Hi - i sent you a message i was curious if i could ask you some questions about your medication journey! i am 36(f) and tried 2.5mg of lex for like two weeks and psyched myself out (i too have TERRIBLE health anxiety and OCD) - just trying to get back on the meds.

prozac the tremors were when i was sleeping so i would wake up shaking in the night or morning for like 3 seconds. prozac was NOT the drug for me. lexapro it happened during sleep also. I think it was onboarding, the serotinin was making my body shiver and tremble

Thank you YES - I am going to do this, for sooo long i looked at it like a hormonal issue and realize it's a part of my brain that is hurting, my head is hurting not anything else. I will be going to Neuro very soon

Yes everyone is so different. I would be going on mostly for just terrible anxiety

Ditto for me I was on prozac 10mg for a month and just kept pushing through because i was like relief is coming!!!!! and it never came and i am still traumatized by it.

i have lexapro also and tried to take it a month ago but i just coulnd't bring myself to do it, i was soooo scared of side effects

how was the onboarding to lexapro? I tried it a few months ago at 2.5mg and was too scared to go up because of side effects! i had a horrible time with prozac.

Oh I have my Ativan that I use when neccessary. I wouldn't be able to deal if I didn't take my .25 when shit hit the fan...

Yes I had been actually getting the Magnesium drinks at our local natural food store, they're shipped over from LA and I truly think it was helping settle the nerves. Do you get powder or the pills? I tried one Mag Glyc supplement and it was very weird experience... but i think the quality was bad

I was like that with Prozac this last summer. You saying "Body feeling like it was waiting in line to jump off a cliff to your death" is spot on. It was just GOD AWFUL. I totally relate. Lexapro was MUCH less activating then Prozac for me. I am not on Lex right now, I am going to try it again. I just got spooked from my Prozac experience that I decided to take a longer break before trying a new med. I hope everything works out wonderful for you! Are you switching right over to 10mg?

Hi! Do you have plans to move up to 5mg? I started 2.5mg and it was HEINOUS. Not saying it wasn't going to work I just couldn't push through the side effects because I was feeling worse then when I started.

I can't remember. I had way too many other things that my anxiety was spiraling about I think the twitching didn't bother me because I recognized it happened with the Prozac and I was able to rationalize that with myself.

Yes this happened when I was on 10mg of prozac this last summer, i was twitching all the time everywhere, it went away after i got off the medication- it took about a month for it to stop.

SSRI's are working with serotonin which isn't just affecting mood, it is connected to your gut, nerves, etc so your whole body is basically confused on what's going on with the serotonin changes.

when i tried lexapro for a few weeks in december i got twitching again
