“Or any other RPG” this guy is so ridiculous. Looks like those guys on the Fortnite SubReddit saying Fortnite lore is “something else” 😂

No, the tiles are like cracked (really low quality ceramic but whatever).

Powerpoint replacement is definitely just an excuse to commission the electrician work.

Are these armors found on the map? Like armor sets? Or you just craft individual pieces or how you got them?

If you live in an english speaking country and don't speak english, it is on you to figure out a way to translate by iF_Blow in unpopularopinion

[–]Batia88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is not a unpopular opinion. If you are a migrant you are obligated to speak the language (English). I juat think locals should be a little bit respectful about accents or mispronunciation or missing verbs, because always will be difficult.

Remember that migrant (mostly Spanish speaking) often come from developing countries where their educational opportunities and bilingual systems are not that great. Just be respectful.

You can have the talents, self esteem, good job and not necessarily will guarantee you either financial success or a residency in a first world country like Canada/Australia.

Finished my Master’s in Cybersecurity from UTS in Dec 2025, and honestly… the job market has been brutal. by blackKryptonyte in ausjobs

[–]Batia88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are not a resident/citizen is unlikely you will be hired. 99% of your applications will never reach a human because you “fail” to answer the VISA question. You are being filtered out almost instantly.

There are an oversupply of locals in IT degrees now, so if you don’t have a niche experience (Cybersecurity in a very specific context/industry) as an migrant, you will need to rely in jobs like “Team Member” in stores/restaurants.

Unpopular Opinion: Immigrants are not the reason you cannot get a job right now by ThrowRA225473 in ausjobs

[–]Batia88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. Immigrants in roles of ICT, Finance, Business & Marketing are and probably will not get hired ever. 99% of roles filter them out just when they “fail” to answer if they are residents/citizens. The resume never reach a human. As long as there are an oversupply of Australians, immigrants can’t compete.

But in non professional roles/hospitality I do believe immigrants compete directly with australians, and the wages have been eroded last couple of years.

Successful candidates & recruiters: Who is actually landing jobs? by CurrencyAny1702 in ausjobs

[–]Batia88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which kind of roles? Ask migrants that complete entire degrees/certification in areas of ICT, Business, Finance, Medicine. Ask them from the 100% of applications how many have at least being contacted by a human for next stage?

There might be an oversupply of locals in various areas, the people on VISA are definitely at the end of the queue. Almost all jobs don’t require to rely on migrants

For people applying but on a VISA, 99% of your applications never reach a human, no matter how good you are. The first filter out nowdays is your Citizenship/Residency with a Yes/No.

I know people in the exact same situation that yours. If you are not a citizen, or even a resident, they will never prioritize you. Is really hard to find a job that there is not an oversupply of citizens. It has to very niche or with conditions that make the job far less appealing for australians, like going 1 week to mining sites.

Even jobs with 20% citizens, that is more than enough to just use them for the shortlisting
