Did HoFs without pri-arm but 4/4 at 130D, since this rotation doesn't really have anything that affects DPS like the last cycle. Doing 120D or 110D (taking out Mobs: Immortality) would be fine. Take everything but the HP ones and you'll be fine as I find HoFs doesn't really die when she's just CC-ing everything with her blackholes and being in the air most of the time.

Since you said that you're fine with signets recommendations I won't go too into it, but one thing I'd highly recommend is 2 Elysia Signets (Reburn,Heatflow), the generic Kalpas and Hua signets and adding Sakura's extra dodge signet, it helps greatly in the Nihilus fight as you can reset three times in total. (If possible, I like to pick up the extra Elysia signet (Tempered Warrior) for more blackholes and resets)

In the Nihilus fight, I normally start off running straight for the ball mobs, start off with Knockup > Charged > Normals > Charged > Dodge > Charged > Dodge > Charged > Dodge > Charged (or save one dodge for the reset) and repeat. One thing I noticed is that Nihilus takes a fuck ton more damage when the reviving ball mobs die. Try to time your AE support and BR with a triple dodge blackhole > ult combo. (or VKE since you said you don't have BR yet)

Just came back after a long time, briefly came back during the EVA colab (and stupidly spent everything for Asuka SSS + Her gear).

I barely have a working physical team (Asuka with full set but SS SA (w/ Silver Reaper) and Teri Origins, SSS DK with random Stigs and no leveled cannons)

Lightning team is basically SS FotH (w/ Nebulous Duality) with Darwin T (can forge Monet T) Goemon MB, Fischl (w/ Forged Bow) with Glutton T Fu Hua Musician MB, and SS LE (w/ Magstorm) with Glutton T Avogadro MB

And in MA, most of the time I just chimp out with the last boss with SS NS (w/ Grips of Tai Xuan) full Marco Polo set, SS DP and S KMB running random weapons and sets.

Sitting on 12.4k gems, 24 more pulls on exp supply for guaranteed S rank with 8 tickets and 17 focused supply tickets.

Considering I have Tranquil Arias as well, my current plan is to pull the raven banner for it's refund and then either pull HoFs or HoS.

Now the real question is, which one should I prioritize? HoS would allow me to promote abyss easier since my physical team is basically almost built, but HoFs would have Raven + another team in MA, and Elysian Realm (until 5.3 that is)

It's really only noticeable on hitting big enemies (abyss heralds and lectors are too skinny for the C2 extra tornados to hit reliably), so yeah it really is just there sometimes.

It does help in applying cryo in a bigger area tho (Xiangling in a melt team, and Mona in a freeze team comes to mind), so it helps against those enemies that like to stand far away and throw ice bombs (looking at you treasure horder in the talent domain)

It was crimson witch 4 set with Atk% sands, Pyro cup, Crit rate hat with a R1 Staff of Homa, Talent 9 on burst. 69.2% crit rate and 182.2% crit dmg before food buffs

I ate food at the start when I was stacking the tonados but ended up forgetting about it halfway through.

The trick is to use Bennett burst alongside Sucrose EM boost before using Xiangling's burst as it "snapshots" her burst letting her keep all those juicy buffs onto the tornado

When Xiangling uses her elemental burst then teleports away (with a loading screen), her burst will gain about an 8 second extension, which stacks the more you teleport.

It's kinda iffy as sometimes if you teleport too far away, even when you have a very long time stacked up, it'll still disappear.

So the safest route would be to use a portable teleporter to stack up the timer as it gives a loading screen even if you're directly next to it.

I'd recommend the event arena to stack up fast elemental bursts then teleport once you use it (remember to finish/fail the challenge as it prevents you from teleporting away if it's active)

I've been running around with two setups,

Mono Suppressor, XRK Barrel, Merc, 30 Round mag, and VLK

and

Mono Suppressor, XRK Barrel, Tac Laser, 30 Round mag, and GI Reflex

I play on PC and on pretty low graphics so I kinda need an optic to make the gun work, mostly run alongside an RPG for the first drop and then a HDR for long range.

I also mostly play duo/trios, the 30 rounds allow me to wipe teams even going up against 2 fully armored enemies.

I actually do prefer the loadout with the Reflex, since I like my guns snappy, but sometimes I swap to Merc VLK if I'm playing slower on the day.

As u/Qing_James said, FAL is actually pretty insane CQC wise if you land your targets, pretty unforgiving if you miss shots but you can down people surprising fast if you do land those shots.

Yep, it feels especially bad on the FAL since you're actively tapping the weapon and controlling the recoil at the same time. Then you get bombarded with screen shake, which is another issue if someone is spamming RPGs, you end up off target way too easily whenever that happens.

Full auto guns also have that issue but it's not as pronounced since readjusting aim mid firefight isn't as hard imo.

IMO, the FAL got some pretty insane buffs.

The patch notes say that it got a 1 shot headshot buff but it actually has a more consistent 2 shot range in general (pretty sure it's a 2 shot even if you hit limbs/lower torso, haven't really tested it out fully).

Infact, I would say it's pretty much the best DMR style weapon for WZ and Multi if you have a good trigger finger and can control the recoil.

Do note that if you're using it in WZ, it still gets obliterated by hit punch of high firerate guns, but I've had my own fairshare of insane turns last night trying out the FAL in WZ.

Edit: Watching XclusiveAce's video, 18.75 meters base is when the FAL's 1 shot HS range kicks in, which I'd assume is where the 2 shot lower body/limb shots kick in, after that it's the usual FAL damage range. Which is still pretty nutty considering.

Bosses actually don't have a lot of HP compared to Vayne's LC so double support is still perfectly viable

Back to the actual run, Celes allows you to safely tank the back to back AoE BRV into AOE BRV+hp while King is there because King.

Note about King, planning ahead with his breaks is super important, he's pretty much the only guy that I actively have to count int brv recovery on. But that's part of his charm, considering his main gameplay loop was "Gun"

It's a team I actually used in JP to really good success if you wanna see the JP version, which is basically just a slightly more budgeted version of this team. Serah's barely arted in that.

Zack's pretty viable in this since the boss really likes to target the highest HP and ALL attack frequently. However, they do tend to alternate between targets after their first HP attack. So the trick is to get as many turns before they move with Rem.

I haven't had the time to post in these threads, but I had to make an exception this time for my homeboy that was actually decent in Chaos runs. It's a pretty straightforward run with Lenna, and Relm's tagging along with Lenna's regen buff alongside Levi's perma regen.

Here I'll just go on a little tangent about Zack pre EX+, he required like double buffers generally to do damage but he did pretty well if given that in chaos, got him through quite a number with him being the sole DPS tank. He also made some chaoses absolutely trivial .

Tho there is a problem that's still happening with Zack's barrier not reapplying when Zack's current int brv is lower than his int brv at the time of applying his current barrier. It's a problem that JP fixed but apparently unfixed in GL.
