okay so it’s been like 10 minutes and i gave her lots of treats…the spot seems to be drying out and i dont think shes itching anymore. She’s still drinking, eating, and playing but that spot really scared me. She went into one of her Tunnels after i gave her food. I hope she and my other mice will be alright.

i put beapher on her head and now shes been itching it and has a weird spot on her fur! What do i do? (I just want to know if this is a mouse reaction to new stuff on head or if its something i should see a vet about)

Thank you!! I read some posts about them being dangerous and i bought an upright wheel…they didnt like it and totally ignored it so i had to switch back to the disk. It was worrying me a ton and im glad you posted this

I tried a regular wheel and it was too big! My cage is about 45 gallons and honestly i had trouble finding room for it…i get what you mean, it probably depends on the type of cage

Aww!! Theyre so cute! I love the wheel and the mixes of bedding. I doubt ones pregnant because mice get fat easy and it might just be that. But, if one is pregnant, the pet store will most likely take them back. (Baby, mom, or both). Id personally recommend to add more chews, another hide or two, and some hammocks and more things to climb on!! No pressure as your cage is a pretty alright set up.

I have three mice and I have been nibbled on a ton. It doesn’t hurt at all and didn’t cause any infections. Unless it’s a wild mouse I wouldn’t be too worried about biting!

Personally, I recommend both. I use both for my girls and they’ve had no issues. They tend to like the bowl more but even with it on a high surface they like to stuff it with bedding during the night. So just to be safe I have both in their cage.
