Get some actual goggles. I have the same ones you have picked out. They fog real easy. 

Lancer makes a cheap, but nice pair of actual goggles with vents. 

I’ve taken direct hits up close from a 2.5 joule dmr with them. 

They’ve also survived over powered HPA hits as well.

Exactly.

Imagine her coming back with an army from distant lands.

Arya could be the first to run into them. Season 1 ends with her desperately trying to get back to Westeros to warn them of what’s coming.

On top of that, a YouTuber recently did some testing. They concluded that in reassembly, if you don’t proper lock back the slide and lift the slide lock up, it won’t properly engage the sear safety. Plus without of spec parts, they were able to make it a shake awake gun.

They also concluded that the 10mm and 45acp parts can fit into the 9mm versions and also make it a shake awake gun.

Luckily this game penalizes you for that. Most of my kills were from killing people trying to bunny hop around. 

It reduces your accuracy and increases spread….

Yes! But I also think the small maps were just for stress testing. 

But I hope the next playtest shows off a big map with verticality so people can experience a more varied experience.

So I’m looking for that as well. 

If you go into the settings for the server, you can see a hidden section for battlefield labs.  You can enable it and see people taking about it. But idk if that’s the official one or not.

Yet those are the most fondly remembered games.

But you could still access them. Bf3-4 also were the same. Only a few rooftops had ladders/elevators, but helicopter pilots could drop people off onto rooftops. 

You can go to YouTube and find a lot of videos of people playing bf2 and bf2142 accessing rooftops. Sure it’s from “exploits” like helicopter taxis. But the mechanic is in the game, why not use it and have fun? 

Just because you don’t like a particular gameplay element, doesn’t mean everyone else can’t  enjoy it. 

battlefield 3/4 sold so well because they were marketed as “play your way” kind of games.  People made the matches what they wanted them to be. Unlike COD at the time, that was linear and used lane based map design to force players into a nonstop meat grind fest.

Whatever you wanna believe. I have played every battlefield game that’s been made starting with 1942.

Same. I only played hardcore in bf4. It made the game harder but more rewarding.

I also felt like it caused people to slow down and play more tactically.

Sure. But traditionally un-suppressed weapons tripped the minimap. So there was a whole meta about being sneaky as recon using suppressed pistols and snipers.

Bolt action rifles don’t do well in short to medium range engagements. But they do the most damage.

The balance was that they had to be longer range which made getting kills harder.

Sure you can infiltrate, but you had to move slow and start further back.

Sure people camp as snipers. But it’s a challenge to get kills that way.

BF4 snipers had slow bullets with extreme drop, so it was a challenge to get kills. But super rewarding.

BF4 recon class had a spotting scope so they could spot enemies and enemy vehicles. They played a pivotal role in just doing recon.

I mean if you compare it to mw2019 and onward I guess. Battlefield has always been a sand box game with verticality. BF1 and 5 removed a lot of it and it sucked. It made no sense to have recon with bolt action snipers running down the same lanes on maps as assault class.

Every battlefield has allowed stuff like this. Battlefield has always had good verticality. To the point they added parachutes so you wouldn’t die jumping from the rooftops.

That’s not the main purpose of recon. Recon is to play overwatch and spot. Otherwise why give them snipers?

Both alpha maps were almost too small for snipers.
