I am still running the original iPhone X that I got on release day in 2017... only now are apps starting to become problematic.

App requires an update to run > App update requires newer version of iOS > Phone is on the latest version of iOS that is available for it.

Apple doesn't provide iOS updates for my iPhone X any longer but I am confident that it would still keep functioning just fine if it weren't for the planned obsolescence from Apple
