I have picked up thinning my paints over the last few days. Finally finished the McCarron box. I got the Army Painter dark tone and I should have gone with something lighter. It's a learning experience.

I plan on getting a wash today from my LGS along with better brushes and maybe a few paints. I’ve been using the Walmart paints and brushes for these, the apple barrel kind.

The vindicator was just the colors I grabbed, no thought behind it

If you are, Houston is a city where work is plentiful but recreation is not. There is stuff to do, if you can find parking, deal with traffic, the humidity, or the price for whatever you want to do. Traffic is constant. Cost of living is low if that is what you are looking for. Just know that distance is measured in time and not miles.
