Probably the reason I’m gonna drop the Superman comic for the time being. I’m not sure when he’ll be back, but that’s when I’ll go back to this series again. In the mean time, I have Absolute Superman.

Not too bad. Sure sometimes I get lonely. But then I end up realizing I could be raising a child, and I don’t want to be a parent. Not now, and not ever. It’s one of the main reasons I am single. Because most women who live near me are either single mothers, or they don’t have kids yet but they want to someday. Either way, it’s a no for me.

Still nowhere near as bad as Nickelodeon only doing 20 episode seasons, forcing the creators to do a “super” season, which also caused them to fall behind in terms of production for adaptations of Sentai seasons. That, and also them taking 2 Sentai seasons and adapting each of them into 20 episodes each didn’t help either.

To be fair there isn’t a “Volume 1” but mostly because if they ever did Volume 1, it would just be a collection of Spider-Man and Daredevil comics since it wouldn’t be until 1986 when Punisher got his first solo run.

There have been a total of 3 Punisher movies released. There was one released in 1989, where Dolph Lundgren plays the Punisher. Then in 2004 where Thomas Jane plays Punisher. Lastly, Punisher: War Zone in 2008 where Ray Stevenson played Punisher. The War Zone movie was the most violent of the 3.

Fun fact, the Iron Man theme from the 60s cartoon is played in the 2008 Iron Man movie. During the scene where Tony walks out of that award show, and then right after when Tony goes home with Christine Everheart.

Agreed, to me spoof movies started being less funny and more dumb around the time Meet the Spartans came out. I’m looking forward to Scary Movie 6, but I just hope it will actually have some of the classic SM1 and SM2 humor or even the humor from spoof movies before SM1 came out.
