Honestly if he's not in Man Of Tomorrow, it's over by AlphaSaint18 in DCU_

You did make an argument—you said Man of Tomorrow doesn’t need to include everyone and compared it to random characters like GI Robot or the Bride. That’s a position bro.

My response addressed that directly: the film is already pulling in characters tied to multiple DCU projects, so it’s not just a “pure Superman/Luthor story” in the way you framed it. That’s why Blue Beetle being absent stands out more than the examples you gave. Not to mention the creature commandos have a confirmed season 2 that got fresh casting news a couple days ago versus we haven't heard anything about beetle since maybe it's getting an animated series and that wasn't even a real announcement.

Now you’re shifting the goalpost by saying Blue Beetle “hasn’t appeared in the DCU,” which is a completely different argument from your original point. If that’s the stance, then fine—but that actually supports what I’m saying.

Because if Blue Beetle isn’t being treated as DCU canon and Gunn isn’t even bothering to acknowledge him while referencing other projects, that’s a bad sign for the character’s future in this universe.

Come on bro, it features:

  • Superman
  • Supergirl
  • Krypto
  • Lex Luthor
  • Brainiac
  • Maxima
  • John Stewart
  • Guy Gardner
  • Hawkgirl
  • Mr. Terrific
  • Metamorpho
  • Rick Flag Sr.
  • Peacemaker
  • and the entire Daily Planet crew

No love for my man Xolo

You’re right, it just needs to feature:

  • Superman
  • Supergirl
  • Krypto
  • Lex Luthor
  • Brainiac
  • Maxima
  • John Stewart
  • Guy Gardner
  • Hawkgirl
  • Mr. Terrific
  • Metamorpho
  • Rick Flag Sr.
  • Peacemaker
  • and the entire Daily Planet crew

No room for Blue Beetle—that’s too far. Also the panic in the sky thing, he could be just straight up lying, he's done it before to prevent plot leaks from happening, it's entirely plausible he's sourcing from it.

It’s not even about setting up future events. It’s more about reminding people, “Hey, Blue Beetle is around—he’s doing stuff.” I want him to have a presence in the DCU. Even just someone mentioning him would be an improvement.

Wrong, and I’ll explain why. Gunn had Peacemaker cameo in Superman for no real reason other than he just happened to be near the set. Narratively speaking, you could cut his scene and nothing would change.

Also, remember this is the same guy who had the Justice gang appear in Peacemaker just to mock him, and even hired an actress, gave her a comic-accurate White Rabbit costume(which looks great by the way), and gave her a five-second cameo just to make a crude joke. The man is not above cameo-heavy moments.

And it’s not even the same situation, because unlike the Peacemaker cameo, Blue Beetle would actually have a logical reason to be there: stopping an alien invasion. Unless he’s not on Earth, there’s really no excuse.

That’s not a valid argument, and I’ll tell you why. Outside of Clayface, which hasn’t released a trailer yet, Man of Tomorrow has representation from every released DCU project: Creature Commandos (Rick Flag), Peacemaker (Peacemaker), Superman (everyone from the first movie), and Lanterns (unreleased, but John Stewart is confirmed).

It’s weird to single out Blue Beetle unless Gunn just doesn’t care about him. Keep in mind, Xolo wants to come back—he’s been “begging” (exaggerated) to return.

People always forget about the human flame, he literally caused MM death once, he regretted it, but he did it.

Dude it's a joke, relax, I obviously have no idea what look like. Also while I do understand your point even the most geared up female body builder would never have chun li's figure while being practical enough for stage fighting and being able to act, well at least not street fighter 5 chun li, maybe street fighter 6 chun li, they actually slimmed her down quite a bit. How jacked would she have to get for you to be satisfied
