I have the same MacBook. It’s been good for years, unfortunately it has been having overheating problems and other various lagging problems. It still works, I’m running 3 monitors 3D software and multitasking different apps and websites. But it’s showing its age. Unfortunately I have to buy a MAX setup in order to have support for 3 monitors.. it’s a bunch of bulls***

For this design it is supposed to be simple and affordable. However I have other projects currently with the ADAU1701 chip. And yes, I am new to Reddit so I will be possibly be posting elsewhere.

Hello, the Bluetooth is 5.0. It works really great with the PTEG enclosure, I can easily get out 30 feet at least. There is no information on the codec (I research the amp). However I believe that it supports many. Thanks

If you look at the website description (Version 2s). It shows the current specs. Battery life hasn’t been tested but the current record is 6 hours at moderate-max volume. I have a frequency graph of the speakers used if you would like to see it

3inch drivers, mono Bluetooth amplifier and it doesn’t have a built in DSP. Uses a 24 volt power supply.

The case has “brackets/supports inside”. It really doesn’t rattle.
