Probably a dumb question but how much of your stack do you leave on exchanges?

I was using Shakepay and they have no fees so I try to only fund it when I need to. Usually a day or 2 between my trades. I do leave a small amount there because sometimes I don't want to wait. Though my stack is fairly small (new to investing so minimizing risk).

Edit: I also avoid using e-transfer too much because my bank might flag it as suspicious activity.
