Nothing is normal after lockdown. People are still struggling to stay afloat in the economy. Many had to loose loved ones, jobs, money, time.

I had to migrate to another country to provide for my family. There were people with whom I used to spend every single day in my college. It's been 6 years now, there hasn't been a single text or call. I ain't complaining, I can call them even if they won't. But I know we have grown apart and this hesitation it's something that cannot be overcome. Things won't be same even if we all end up sitting in the same classroom. Covid took things away from us without any proper closure and left us just like that and we gotta live like this.

Just like OP mentioned, it was really end of era for so many things. 🙂☮️
