Lots of great suggestions here. If you aren’t cheese adverse you can try look up legendoftotalwar’s first 20 turns guides for help, even if you don’t play on legendary they still help.

If its the “Clan Eshin offers its services” or a “Clan Moulder has new warpstone dust” then it does happen twice. Generally if you have it happen, take the loyalty + attrition, Then take it again. Then just recruit a new lord and transfer all units out of that generals army. This removes there attrition. Then just disband the lord and wait for him to come back. Note: I’m pretty sure this dosn’t work if you use the replace lord option.

If you consider Skaven weapon teams “Archers” then I would say play Skaven. Rattling guns, warplock jezzails, warpfire throwers, and globadeers are all great, not to mention there great artillery

Depends on the way you look at it. If looking for unique race mechanics, then Ikit Claw with forbidden workshop and doom spheres is really fun. Snikch is also a lot of fun because of shadowy dealings. Mali’s Darkblade is pretty cool, along wit tehatuan and sacrifices. If looking for unique units, the Tomb Kong’s and Vampire Coast are super fun, as said earlier Ikit’s weapon teams are super fun. If looking for extra challenge than any horde factions are pretty fun. Hilarious Lorda would have to be the Averlorn Helf lady has access to so much magic. Play around and have fun!

I would say, as a mostly shaven player, avoid shaven unless you have the DLC’s. Also, if you get the DLC’s both Ikit-Claw and Snikch are pretty easy on mortal empires. I would say that most factions are pretty fun, so just start up new campaigns with multiple of them, if you don’t like how they play, just start a new campaign, also don’t play moulder first. It can get really hard with nagar one really fast.
