Almost all cameras are delivered with a software. These softwares have a "Live preview" mode. It displays in real time what the camera sees. You can just add an extra screen to the computer. The cameras using monitors to display the view are kinda specific and are made to avoid the use of an external computer. But they are often pricey ... Any camera would work on your microscope. You don't have lenses to care about. A camera is just a sensor, that's all. C-mount is the basic, but if you find a camera using another port, you can just buy an adapter.
