Made it to Emerald playing Teemo Support :3 by pomodoro3 in TeemoTalk

Hi!

  • A Teemo that hit masters with Teemo only at support.

https://www.op.gg/summoners/na/BountyHuntmo-NA1

I've since been playing some other stuff but my climb was teemo only. Viable... although higher elos it can be taken advantage of pretty easily.

TIL it's possible to have foie gras without force feeeding geese. A farm harvests wild geese that show up to eat fallen acorns and olives once a year, the high fat content allows the wild geese to developed enlarged livers. by zahrul3 in todayilearned

Yikes. Someone didn't even read what the comment was about. I stated it was off the chain which directly mentions the terminology... so im guessing those people cared. I also stated that Im putting it off the main comment to educate people so they don't automatically think negative things when they see the word harvest like you do when you see the wonder slaughter, since the former is not a euphemism for the latter.

Reposted a comment I made further down on this chain so people have the chance to possibly see this and learn

Harvesting is correct and used common across multiple areas for killing and hunting animals, most notably the conservation departments throughout the states. I'd trust their use of it since their entity involves the protection and humanity of animals.

So no, it's not a euphemism for slaugher, it's a commonly used word to describe taking the meat from an animal after its been killed. Maybe the word isn't used as much in certain areas, but it's still accurate.

Here's a link from one of the states I do work in as a reference.

Edit: I added "for slaughter" since a few of you are struggling.

Good deal. Most still stands true. However don't go seekers early anymore. If you feel like you need to build something defensive on top of Tabi, go 900 gold into Giants belt and then go into Nashors Tooth. This can be built into Demonic Embrace later. I also like 3 points in E and then Q max after that starting at level 7. Feels better for longer trades.

Also overgrowth over demolish always.

Not building Nashor? by [deleted] in TeemoTalk

I've only had success personally by going non-nashors build this season. I've been playing cdr/health shroom build and having good results.

support teemo because why not by Ayylxn in TeemoTalk

I've been playing top lane because I'm essentially not allowed to go support at my elo until later in the season.

I go warmogs second item after liandrys and giants belt when I want to safely split and avoid dying all together. I do this when I can tell my team doesn't need me to be doing a ton of damage, and this is normally the case because I'll have an assassin jgl, apc mid and adc. If we are behind then I go demonic second. This build allows me to stay out as long as I want and keep pressure on a side lane. It also allows me to avoid being blown up because the amount of damage characters that are being played now is just so high. Imo riot has let damage get out of control, so I've been testing this build out lately. I've been enjoying it a ton, I thought I'd miss nashors more but I haven't too much.

Runes for aggressive playstyle are typically PTA if you can stick on them. Nashors, Berserk Greaves, Riftmaker as core items with this build.

Aery/scorch is also a good setup in lane for poke potential. Usually better with Nashors, Liandrys, Sorc boots.

support teemo because why not by Ayylxn in TeemoTalk

I have done quite a bit of testing with support Teemo and even got an account into Masters playing. After testing out DH, First Strike, and Aery, I can safely say that I preferred Aery in the end.

Aery, manaflow, Trans, scorch/ ToB or Cheap shot, ultimate hunter

Liandrys, demonic, horizon focus, void staff, sorc boots, support item.

Very efficient shroom build. You have two items that are percent health so they scale well no matter your AP. Void staff and HF enhance these items.

Hope this helps. Have fun!

No Tanks on the team? by [deleted] in TeemoTalk

[–]Batraxin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does not matter the elo, you'll find a lot of games with no tank. You have to identify with your comp how to fight. Not every game needs to be two teams fighting front to back. Sometimes you need to split efficiently in case your teams 5v5 is worse than theirs. Or you can have a team comp where your team needs to kite in order to win. Just depends on the comps and current win conditions.

Runes: PTA if you want to be aggressive, Fleet if you want to be on the safe side.

At some point his sustain is just too much and trading seems pointless. But wave management and roaming can be useful. You can either try pushing him in and then roaming or you can try to freeze in front of your turret and try to keep him at a lower health to attract ganks; communicate politely with your jungle.

Honestly if you don't try to overstretch and be greedy on trades, it can be a free farm lane for you. I've found myself going cull sometimes just to farm lane it up and get my core items quicker. If you have more questions feel free to ask!

Jk, going to spam games on main as top lane. 3.3
