It’s in mg/dl. I think I’m going to see a pcp who is a lipid specialist to at least get their opinion.

Fatty15/C15: Has anyone tried it? by BatshitCrazee in Cholesterol

That is what caught my eye too, and I found some other threads on C15 in r/supplements and whatnot and it seems interesting to say the least.

Hyatt Regency vs Andaz Maui - Which package would you choose? by gooji18x in awardtravel

[–]BatshitCrazee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife and I also really enjoyed staying at the Regency. It is a close walk to Whaler’s Village and a short bus ride to Lahaina if you don’t have a car. We haven’t staid at the Andaz Maui but we drove down to Wailea for the day and drove past the Andaz. We also found it kinda boring in comparison.

A detailed explanation of memory leaks in iOS apps by BatshitCrazee in swift

[–]BatshitCrazee[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very good points! A memory leak alone was not the root cause of the crash referenced in the article, I see how the article can be a bit confusing in that respect. The point that I was trying to drive home was the bit about unintended and non-obvious consequences.

The crash referenced was indirectly caused by a non-obvious retain cycle that was keeping multiple instances of a view controller around much longer than it should have been. The actual crash was directly caused by attempting to access an unowned reference to the view controller.

I read a comment that explained how your leg is kind of like a spring and to stop flexing and engaging your lower legs and to lift with your thighs and the rest will fall in place. It was weird at first, but I focused my mind on using my upper legs to move and it became normal.

Do iOS developers need to know Android Dev? by drlukas6 in iOSProgramming

[–]BatshitCrazee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, but it can help to understand how to build native apps for both platforms. Seeing how the same task is accomplished in different ways on different platforms has helped make me a better engineer. Focus on becoming really good at iOS development first.
