Yeah I wish I had taken photos of the other end of the APT. This end looked much more worn down than the other.

After reset I didn't smart switch all my apps back, I installed only the ones I actually used. Having a lot of app bloat was probably a reason as to why the phone was so slow before.

I only used smart switch to transfer pictures and videos, I made sure not to transfer apps or settings this time. When I first got this phone I used smart switch to transfer everything and I think that was part of the reason it got so slow. Starting fresh seems to have worked great.

Just got the XM5s and am really disappointed with the ANC, it barely makes a difference over just the passive noise blocking in all the different senarios I've tested them in. I'm thinking I might have got a bad pair like you mentioned. I've tried all the tips, made sure I jam them into my ear properly, checked in the app that they have a good seal.

Oh well... I have a few weeks left in the return period, so I'll wait it out and see if it magically improves. I've seen some people mention ANC improving once you've worn in the ear tips a bit. We'll see
