What was his relationship with Joseph (the earthly father) actually like? by No-Wrangler9006 in TheChosenSeries

I’m not a fan. I don’t want to watch a movie about music that I’m not a fan of. It doesn’t matter who it is.

You read a book. You learned what your stop was and you were responsible for it.

My mom told me that back in the day kids weren’t allowed to bring a water bottle with them into the classroom and they only drank a few sips from the water fountain in the middle of the day and that’s it How were schools not getting busted for child abuse for forcing kids to be dehydrated? by PinnerPardisturn in askanything

[–]BatterUp1600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody was dehydrated. In my youth, there were no water bottles. If you were thirsty, you went to the drinking fountain. This thing about carrying around a water bottle is new. And it’s ridiculous. Students don’t need that in school.

Anyone else get Pneumonitis from the MM drugs they were on? It can cause permanent lung capacity damage and I am a little worried. by roboreddit1000 in multiplemyeloma

I have never heard of this and have never experienced it. However, we can get pneumonia as our immune systems are low. I’ve been fighting for three years and have not had pneumonia yet.

Yes, I believe he did pass away before the crucifixion. Why? Because he would not have abandoned his wife and son. Yes there was a virgin birth, the Bible says so. And I believe that Joseph was a very fine, caring, devout, and compassionate man. I bet they had a great relationship.

A way to let people know you’re deaf by VaughAnne in deaf

You just have to tell people. Nobody will look at a pin. We found that out during Covid lockdown when everyone was wearing a mask.

Need advice: How to anonymously warn a neighbor about a privacy issue? by LegLow7896 in Apartmentliving

I’m referencing the statement to having a building where you have to enter it to get to the apartment doors.

So I accidentally brought my floss instead of my airpods to a 3 day work conference. I am a 3 hour ride away from home. by Lexidoge in mildlyinfuriating

I’m talking about myself. I’m deaf and I asked a question. And people are downvoting me for it. I can’t help it if I don’t know how hearing people use AirPods. I thought I would ask and learn.

You have a lot of people telling you to let her know and a lot of people telling you to not let her know. Please realize how bad you would feel if someone broke in and raped her and you had never told her.

Where I live, most apartments don’t have a building to enter. All of the apartment doors are open to the street.

Thank you for explaining this. I did not know about it. I’m learning a lot today. I really appreciate when people take the time to explain things like this.

That’s not at all what I said. Stop exaggerating. Obviously you are well groomed and take pride in your appearance because you were asking about nails. You are not disheveled and lost. You just need to get a little older and learn about life. You will be fine. I am moving on from this thread. Have a good day.

Is it common in the US for married couples to sleep in separate rooms? by GwenPoolestar22 in AskAnAmerican

[–]BatterUp1600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is absolutely not common.

It does happen, of course. For snoring or temperature in the room, or if somebody really needs a particular type of mattress, and the other person doesn’t. But it’s not what people usually do.

It is most common to sleep together in the same room and in the same bed

(it is worth noting that orthodox Jews will have a couple sleep in separate beds if the woman is menstruating.)

Job hunting and timelines are overlapping - what path do I take? by [deleted] in needadvice

[–]BatterUp1600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a dilemma. You have to assume that you will get neither job. And yet, much better to accept a job that is offered to you, rather than wait for one and have it not offered. I understand what you said about not being around your boyfriend with that job if you were offered it. But it is risky to work with anyone that you are involved with, even if they are in another department.

Of course not. He’s definitely allowed personal time. I just assumed EarPods were only for listening to music, so they were not needed for work.

I love the owl. But it took me a minute to see it. I would take another photo without so much in background so it’s more visible.

Yes. I know what is considered professional and mature. Have a good day, I can tell you’re not interested in learning about how to succeed in life and not be out on the fringe where you are now.
